ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE

At the heart of the 2026 KTM 390 DUKE is a 398.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine designed to deliver responsive power across a broad operating range. Producing 45 PS and 39 Nm of torque, the engine offers plenty of performance for daily commuting, freeway riding, and spirited weekend trips through San Diego County.

A six-speed transmission allows riders to make full use of the engine’s performance, while Bosch EMS with ride-by-wire provides smooth and accurate throttle control. The lightweight engine design also helps maintain the agile and responsive character that defines the KTM DUKE lineup.

WP APEX SUSPENSION

The KTM 390 DUKE is equipped with premium WP APEX suspension designed to provide excellent control, comfort, and road feedback. The WP APEX 43 front suspension offers 150 mm of travel and adjustable compression and rebound damping, allowing riders to fine-tune the front end for their preferred riding style.

The rear suspension also provides 150 mm of travel and includes adjustable rebound damping and spring preload. This adjustable suspension setup gives the 390 DUKE impressive versatility for city streets, winding roads, and everyday riding.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND AGILE CHASSIS

A powder-coated steel trellis frame provides the rigidity and precise handling expected from KTM. Its compact 1,357 mm wheelbase helps the motorcycle change direction quickly while maintaining stability at higher speeds.

With a fully fueled weight of approximately 165 kg, the 390 DUKE remains lightweight and manageable. The two-position seat height can be configured at 820 mm or 800 mm, allowing the motorcycle to accommodate a wider range of riders.

CONFIDENT BRAKING PERFORMANCE

A large 320 mm front brake disc is paired with a four-piston radial fixed caliper to deliver strong and controlled stopping power. A 240 mm rear brake disc provides additional control and stability during braking.

This powerful braking system complements the lightweight chassis and responsive suspension, giving the rider confidence in traffic, through tight corners, and during more aggressive street riding.
