2027 KTM 350 SX-F Features
Balanced 350cc Four-Stroke Performance
The 2027 KTM 350 SX-F combines the lightweight, agile character of a 250-class motocross bike with power that approaches the 450 class. Its compact 349.7cc engine delivers strong, usable performance throughout the rpm range, giving riders an excellent balance of acceleration, control, and maneuverability.
Launch Control
Standard launch control helps improve traction during hard acceleration off the starting gate. The system limits power delivered to the rear wheel to reduce wheelspin and help the rider maintain control while fighting for the holeshot.
Quickshifter
The standard Quickshifter allows clutchless upshifts from second through fifth gear. This lets the rider maintain momentum and keep greater focus on the track when accelerating toward the first corner or shifting under demanding race conditions.
Selectable Engine Maps
A handlebar-mounted map select switch gives the rider access to two engine maps. Map 1 provides smoother, more linear power delivery, while Map 2 offers a sharper throttle response and more aggressive performance.
Traction Control
Handlebar-selectable traction control helps improve rear-wheel grip on wet, muddy, or slippery tracks. The system can be quickly switched on or off, allowing the rider to adjust the motorcycle for changing track conditions.
Keihin Electronic Fuel Injection
A Keihin electronic fuel-injection system with a 44 mm throttle body provides accurate fueling, immediate throttle response, and consistent engine performance across changing temperatures, elevations, and riding conditions.
Five-Speed Racing Transmission
The five-speed transmission is designed to complement the broad power delivery of the 350cc engine. Carefully selected gear ratios help provide strong acceleration, smooth shifting, and effective power transfer throughout the track.
Brembo Hydraulic Clutch
The wet multi-disc DS clutch is operated by a Brembo hydraulic system, providing consistent engagement, precise control, and dependable performance throughout long motos. The hydraulic design automatically compensates for clutch wear.
Race-Developed Steel Frame
The central double-cradle 25CrMo4 steel frame is engineered to provide a carefully controlled balance of stiffness, flex, stability, and rider feedback. Optimized engine mounts and chassis construction help improve cornering behavior, straight-line stability, and overall control.
Optimized Ergonomics
A race-focused rider triangle, slim bodywork, and specially shaped tank shrouds provide excellent knee contact and gripping surfaces. The streamlined design helps riders move naturally around the motorcycle while sitting, standing, cornering, or attacking jumps.
WP XACT 48 mm Air Fork
The 48 mm WP XACT AER front fork uses a capsulated air spring, pressurized oil chamber, and advanced damping system to provide progressive suspension performance, consistent feedback, and rider comfort. Air pressure, compression, and rebound settings can be adjusted to suit rider preference and track conditions.
WP XACT Rear Shock with Linkage
The WP XACT rear shock uses a linkage system and race-developed settings to provide controlled damping, traction, and stability. High-speed and low-speed compression settings can be adjusted by hand, while rebound adjustment allows the suspension to be fine-tuned for different riders and tracks.
Tool-Free Suspension Adjustment
Easy-access adjusters allow riders to make suspension changes quickly at the track. Hand-adjustable fork clickers and rear-shock compression controls make it easier to fine-tune the motorcycle without spending unnecessary time searching for tools.
Brembo Braking Components
Brembo hydraulic braking components provide strong stopping power and precise brake feel. The front and rear disc-brake systems are designed to deliver consistent performance under demanding motocross race conditions.
Dunlop GEOMAX MX34 Tires
Dunlop GEOMAX MX34 motocross tires provide dependable traction, stability, cornering grip, and control across a variety of track surfaces. The tread design also helps reduce mud buildup in challenging conditions.
Excel Rims and CNC-Machined Hubs
Premium Excel rims are paired with lightweight CNC-machined hubs to provide a strong and dependable wheel package capable of handling repeated jumps, hard landings, acceleration, and demanding race conditions.
High-Flow Airbox
The airbox uses carefully positioned inlet ducts to maximize airflow while helping protect the filter from contamination. The Twin Air filter can be accessed through the left side panel without tools, making trackside inspection and maintenance faster and easier.
Vented Airbox Cover Included
A vented airbox cover is included with the motorcycle, giving riders an additional setup option when increased airflow is desired.
Easy Trackside Serviceability
Frequently serviced components are designed for convenient access, helping simplify routine maintenance and trackside adjustments. A threaded radiator cap is designed to open more easily while maintaining a secure fit.
Improved Ground Clearance
The rear shock and linkage geometry provide generous ground clearance, while topology-optimized die-cast footpegs are designed to be less susceptible to catching in deep ruts or on jump faces.
2027 KTM Graphics and Bodywork
The 2027 KTM SX-F lineup features updated orange graphics with red accents on the tank shrouds. In-mold graphics provide a durable finish that is designed to resist peeling and wear during aggressive riding.
Optional Connectivity Unit Offroad
The KTM Connectivity Unit Offroad is available separately through KTM PowerParts. When paired with the KTMconnect app, it can provide additional engine-adjustment options, riding information, and personalized suspension-setting recommendations.
