Engine system examples include transmission, balancer shaft, cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, cylinder, and crankshafts.
Drive system examples include differential, drive shaft, axles, and CV joints.
Fuel system examples include carburetors, intake manifolds, fuel tanks, fuel petcock, fuel injectors, fuel pump, and control module.
Cooling system examples include radiator, water pump, thermostat, cooling fans, oil cooler.
Brakes, electrical, and chassis examples include master cylinder, calipers, anti-lock control module, alternator, regulator/rectifier, engine control module, ignition coils, frame, shocks, swingarm, and steering control rods.
What’s not covered and key conditions
The brochure lists exclusions that include tires, batteries, audio and navigation equipment, accessories, aftermarket equipment and modifications, and regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle. Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.
Eligibility notes for HondaCare on a CRF50F
A HondaCare extended service plan is available for Honda motorcycles, scooters, SXSs and ATVs that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty. The brochure advises signing up before the new vehicle warranty expires.
