HondaCare Coverage for the Honda Rubicon 700
The Rubicon 700 HondaCare Protection Plan is a HondaCare Protection Plan for the Honda Rubicon 700 ATV. It’s an extended service plan from American Honda that begins where the 12-month Honda limited warranty ends.

HondaCare coverage is accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States. If you’re traveling or you move, you can still have covered repairs handled through the authorized Honda dealer network rather than being limited to a single shop.
No mileage/hour limit and no deductible
HondaCare coverage does not expire at a preset mileage or hour limit. And there are no out-of-pocket costs for repairs covered under HondaCare—no deductible or co-pay. Coverage is backed by American Honda, and covered repairs are made by Honda technicians using only new Genuine Honda Parts.
HondaCare for the Honda Rubicon 700
This HondaCare Protection Plan is for the Honda Rubicon 700 (model code TRX700FA5). HondaCare coverage is marketed as “Protection Under Our Wing,” and it offers similar features and benefits to the Honda new vehicle warranty.
HondaCare is a separate protection plan that begins when the Honda limited warranty ends. The Rubicon 700 factory limited warranty length is 12 months.

Examples of covered systems (not a complete list)

Engine system examples include Transmission, Cylinder heads, Pistons, Camshafts, Cylinder, Crankshafts, and Balancer shaft.
Drive system examples include Differential, Drive shaft, Axles, and CV joints.
Fuel system examples include Carburetors, Intake manifolds, Fuel tanks, Fuel petcock, Fuel injectors, Fuel pump, and Control module.
Cooling system examples include Radiator, Water pump, Thermostat, Cooling fans, and Oil cooler.
Brakes, Electrical, and Chassis system examples include Master cylinder, Calipers, Anti-lock control module; Alternator, Regulator/rectifier, Engine control module, Electrical shift system; and Frame, Shocks, Swingarm, and Steering control rods.
What’s not covered and important limitations
The brochure lists these items as exclusions: Tires, Batteries, Audio and navigation equipment, Accessories, Aftermarket equipment and modifications, and Regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle. Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.

Eligibility notes to know before you buy
A HondaCare extended service plan is available for Honda motorcycles, scooters, SXSs and ATVs that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty.
Eligible Certified Pre-Owned vehicles obtained from a Honda dealer can also be covered.
The brochure advises signing up before the new vehicle warranty expires.
