Honda Ruckus HondaCare Protection Plan is a HondaCare Protection Plan for the Honda Ruckus scooter. It’s an extended service plan from American Honda that begins when the 12-month Honda limited warranty ends, and it offers similar features and benefits to the Honda new vehicle warranty.

Nationwide coverage means HondaCare is accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States. If you sell your Ruckus, HondaCare is transferable to a subsequent owner at no cost, which can be a helpful benefit for long-term ownership.

This HondaCare Protection Plan is for the Honda Ruckus (model code: RUCKUS).
HondaCare extended service plans are available for Honda motorcycles and scooters that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty. Eligible Certified Pre-Owned vehicles obtained from a Honda dealer can also be covered.
Coverage terms and factory warranty timeline
The Honda Ruckus includes a 12-month Honda limited warranty. HondaCare begins where that factory warranty ends.
Available HondaCare terms for the Ruckus are 1 Year, 2 Years, 3 Years, 4 Years, or 5 Years. Taken together, the 12-month Honda limited warranty and the longest available HondaCare term of 5 Years provide protection for up to 6 Years from new.
HondaCare benefits included with the plan
Nationwide coverage is accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States.
HondaCare has no mileage or hour limitation, meaning coverage does not expire at a preset mileage or hour limit.
There is no deductible or co-pay, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for repairs covered under HondaCare.
HondaCare is transferable to a subsequent owner at no cost. Covered repairs are made by Honda technicians using only new Genuine Honda Parts.
What HondaCare may help cover on a Ruckus (examples)

Examples of covered systems include Engine (such as transmission, cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, crankshafts), Fuel system (such as carburetors, fuel tanks, fuel pump, fuel injectors, control module), Electrical (such as alternator, regulator/rectifier, engine control module, ignition coils), and Brakes (such as calipers, master cylinder, drums and rotors, anti-lock control module).
Additional examples include Cooling system (such as radiator, water pump, thermostat, cooling fans, oil cooler), Chassis (such as frame, shocks, swingarm, steering control rods), and Drive system (such as drive shaft, axles, CV joints, differential).
Important exclusions and conditions
HondaCare does not cover tires, batteries, audio and navigation equipment, accessories, aftermarket equipment and modifications, or regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle. Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.
Optional Roadside Assistance (With Roadside plans)
If you select the With Roadside option, Optional Roadside Assistance provides worry-free, nationwide coverage.
Roadside Assistance benefits include emergency towing, fuel delivery service, locksmith assistance, extrication assistance, and a 24/7 toll-free assistance number.
For owners of Honda on-road motorcycles and scooters, optional Roadside Assistance can be purchased and used at any time, regardless of the vehicle’s warranty status. See dealer for details.
