2026 Atlis G2

The 2026 Atlis G2 in Standard is a compact electric motorcycle designed as the electric equivalent of a 50cc-sized bike, delivering a quiet, low-heat alternative to a gas engine. Power comes from a 48V BLDC motor with an inner rotor, paired with Stage 1 and Stage 2 drive modes to suit different riders and situations. A swappable lithium-ion powerpack (20Ah/960Wh) helps keep downtime simple, while the aluminum twin-spar, double-cradle frame adds a purpose-built feel. With knobby Kenda® Millville K771 tires and hydraulic brakes front and rear, it’s built with real motorcycle components in a smaller package.

48V electric drive with modes

The G2 uses a 48V BLDC motor with an inner rotor and offers two drive modes (Stage 1 and Stage 2) to tailor how it responds. Rated output is 1 kW at 2000 RPM, with max power listed at 2.5 kW and max motor speed of 4,000 RPM. Air cooling keeps the system straightforward, and the 1:7.1 final drive and 428H chain handle power transfer to the rear wheel.

Swappable lithium-ion powerpack

A swappable lithium-ion battery powerpack (20Ah/960Wh) is sized for convenient handling, with a listed weight of 5.9 kg (13 lb). Run time is stated as 2 hours in ideal conditions with a full charge. Charging is supported by a 90–264 V, 50–60 Hz charger line voltage, with charging time listed at 4 hours (Standard) or 2.5 hours (Quick Charge) to 100%.

Hydraulic brakes and knobby tires

For controlled stopping and confident traction, the G2 is equipped with hydraulic calipers and 190 mm petal-style rotors on both ends. The front brake is actuated by a right-hand lever, and the rear brake by a left-hand lever. A 12×1.6 spoke aluminum rim setup and 60/100-12 Kenda® Millville K771 knobby tires front and rear round out a dirt-ready wheel and tire package.

Chassis sizing, fit, and key dimensions

Built around an aluminum twin-spar frame with a double-cradle design, the G2 keeps a compact footprint while using full-feature motorcycle-style hardware. Overall length is 1395 mm (55 inches), width is 690 mm (27.1 inches), and overall height is 920 mm (36.2 inches), with a 970 mm (38 inches) wheelbase. Ground clearance is listed at 200 mm (7.8 inches).

Rider fit can be tuned with an adjustable seat height of 630 mm (24.8 inches) or 650 mm (25.5 inches), and handlebar height is 860 mm (33.8 inches). The handlebar is a tapered aluminum ϕ22 mm unit. The G2’s weight is listed at 48 kg (106 lb), and maximum load is 45 kg (99 lb).

Suspension and steering setup

Up front, the G2 uses a hydraulic conventional telescopic fork (ϕ33 mm) with a 600 mm (24.25 inches) length. Rear suspension is a DNM unit with rebound and preload adjustability, with a listed length of 230 mm (9 inches). Suspension travel is 100 mm (3.9 inches) front and 97 mm (3.8 inches) rear, providing meaningful movement for uneven surfaces while keeping the bike’s proportions manageable.

Steering geometry is listed with a 25° steering head angle, 32 mm trail, and a triple clamp offset of 25°. Combined with the 12-inch wheel setup and knobby tires, the G2 is configured for predictable handling in a small-bike package.

Battery, charging, and runtime details

The G2’s swappable lithium-ion powerpack is specified at 20Ah/960Wh, with dimensions of 145*91*270 mm and a listed weight of 5.9 kg (13 lb). For charging support, charger line voltage is listed at 90–264 V / 50–60 Hz. Charging input is specified as 1.3A@230V(AC), with charging power listed at 290 W.
