2026 Honda CB1000F - Wolf Silver Metallic

The 2026 Honda CB1000F in Wolf Silver Metallic blends classic, timeless styling with a modern 1000cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder DOHC engine and an open, comfortable riding position. Built to feel both familiar and current, it pairs a fast-revving character with features like throttle-by-wire with five ride modes, Honda Selectable Torque Control, and a big five-inch TFT instrument display. Chassis hardware is equally serious, with a 41mm inverted Showa SFF-BP fork, Pro-Link rear suspension, and dual 310mm front discs with radial-mount calipers plus cornering ABS for confident street performance.

1000cc inline-four character

At the heart of the CB1000F is a 1000cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine with DOHC and four valves per cylinder, fed by PGM-FI with a 44mm throttle body. Honda pairs the classic CB feel with modern tech like throttle-by-wire, and the engine is tuned for more low- and midrange horsepower and torque based on an architecture proven on the 1000 Hornet platform.

Showa suspension, sportbike control

Suspension is built around a 41mm inverted Showa SFF-BP fork with 5.1 inches of travel, plus a Pro-Link single-shock rear with 5.5 inches of travel. The front fork is fully adjustable for preload and compression- and rebound damping, giving you the tools to dial in the ride for your roads and your pace while keeping the CB1000F’s handling sharp and composed.

TFT display, ride modes, RoadSync

A bright five-inch TFT instrument display puts key information right where you want it, with multiple display-setting choices. Throttle-by-wire adds five ride modes (Standard, Sport, Rain, and two rider-programmable User modes), and the User modes let you choose between three parameters and save the settings. Honda RoadSync and Honda Selectable Torque Control add extra convenience and confidence in changing conditions.

Engine, fueling, and exhaust

Honda’s 1000cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder four-stroke uses DOHC with four valves per cylinder, with a 76.0mm x 55.1mm bore and stroke and an 11.7:1 compression ratio. Fueling is handled by a Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) system with a 44mm throttle body for crisp response.

A classic four-into-one exhaust design rounds out the package, using a special three-chamber muffler designed to boost low- and midrange torque and power. It’s a key part of how the CB1000F delivers its strong, fast-revving personality while keeping the look rooted in CB heritage.

Chassis, brakes, and confidence features

Up front, the CB1000F uses dual 310mm front discs with radial-mount calipers and cornering ABS, backed up by a single 240mm rear disc with ABS. The wheel and tire sizes are set up for street-focused performance, with a 120/70-17 front and a 180/55-17 rear.

Geometry includes a 25.0° rake, 3.9 inches of trail, and a 57.2-inch wheelbase. For riders who appreciate modern control without losing the traditional CB feel, Honda Selectable Torque Control helps manage traction across a wide variety of surface conditions.

Rider interface, comfort, and everyday usability

The CB1000F’s open riding position is designed to let you sit up a little straighter, offering a higher vantage point than hardcore sportbikes and a fit many riders find more comfortable. Seat height is 31.3 inches, and curb weight is listed at 472 pounds (including all standard equipment, required fluids, and a full tank of fuel). Fuel capacity is 4.2 gallons.

The five-inch TFT display provides a modern cockpit, and the bike includes an all-LED lighting package. A six-speed manual transmission and a slipper/assist clutch support smooth control in real-world riding, while the #525 chain final drive (16T/45T) keeps the drivetrain straightforward and serviceable.

Style and ownership details

In Wolf Silver Metallic, the CB1000F leans into a classic, timeless style. Honda highlights the way the fuel tank and sidecovers integrate in a “flow line” design, along with the graphics and tailpiece, to capture the look of the originals in a fresh, modern build.
