1084cc parallel-twin: strong, usable touring power
The NT1100 DCT uses a 1084cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin with a 270-degree phase-crank and biaxial counterbalancing to help keep the ride smooth when you’re stacking miles. The result is power that feels responsive for passing and on-ramps, while staying composed at steady highway speeds.
Honda’s PGM-FI fuel injection with a 44mm throttle body supports clean throttle response, and the throttle-by-wire system works with ride modes and traction management to tailor delivery to conditions.

DCT performance: smooth shifts, less fatigue
The six-speed automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) is built for riders who want consistent, quick shifting without the constant clutch work—especially helpful in stop-and-go traffic around San Diego and on long touring days.
Pair DCT with the bike’s ride modes to match your pace and conditions, and let the electronics help keep the power delivery predictable.

Ride modes + traction management
The NT1100 DCT includes ride modes along with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and wheelie control. Together, these systems help you adapt to changing road surfaces—cool coastal mornings, warm inland afternoons, and everything in between.
Braking confidence and planted road feel
For touring, predictable braking matters as much as outright power. The NT1100 DCT features dual 310mm front discs with radial-mounted four-piston calipers and a 256mm rear disc, backed by ABS.
On the chassis side, the bike uses a 43mm inverted Showa SFF-BP fork with 5.9 inches of travel and a Pro-Link Showa single shock with 5.9 inches of travel. Combined with sport tires (120/70-17 front, 180/55-17 rear), the setup is tuned for confident cornering and stability with luggage.
