Honda CBR650R HondaCare is a HondaCare Protection Plan for the CBR650R model family. It’s an extended service plan from American Honda that begins after the Honda limited warranty ends.

If you travel or move, you can still use your HondaCare Protection Plan at authorized Honda powersports dealers nationwide, not just at the dealership where you purchased your plan.
Optional Roadside Assistance
You can purchase this CBR650R HondaCare plan with or without optional Roadside Assistance. Roadside Assistance provides worry-free, nationwide coverage and includes emergency towing, fuel delivery service, locksmith assistance, extrication assistance, and access to a 24/7 toll-free assistance number.

Factory warranty and how long you can be protected
The Honda CBR650R comes with a 12-month Honda limited warranty. HondaCare begins when the factory warranty ends.
Taken together, the 12-month Honda limited warranty and the longest available HondaCare term of 5 Years provide protection for up to 6 Years from new.
HondaCare plan benefits
Nationwide coverage: Coverage is accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States.
No mileage or hour limitation: Coverage does not expire at a preset mileage or hour limit.
No deductible or co-pay: There are no out-of-pocket costs for repairs covered under HondaCare.
Transferable: HondaCare is transferable to a subsequent owner at no cost.
Repairs you can trust: Backed by American Honda, covered repairs are made by Honda technicians using only new Genuine Honda Parts.
What HondaCare helps cover (examples by system)
HondaCare coverage includes covered repairs against defects included in the plan. The examples below are illustrations of what falls inside each covered system and are not a complete list; actual contract coverages, limitations and exclusions may vary—see your dealer for details.
Engine example items include transmission, balancer shaft, cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, cylinder, and crankshafts.
Drive system example items include differential, drive shaft, axles, and CV joints.
Fuel system example items include carburetors, intake manifolds, fuel tanks, fuel petcock, fuel injectors, fuel pump, and control module.
Cooling system example items include radiator, water pump, thermostat, cooling fans, and oil cooler.
Brakes example items include master cylinder, wheel cylinder, drums and rotors, calipers, reservoirs, and anti-lock control module.
More covered system examples
Electrical example items include alternator, regulator/rectifier, engine control module, electrical shift system, and ignition coils.
Chassis example items include frame, shocks, swingarm, and steering control rods.
Important exclusions and void conditions
HondaCare does not cover certain items. Exclusions listed in the brochure include tires, batteries, audio and navigation equipment, accessories, aftermarket equipment and modifications, and regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle.
Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.
Eligibility notes for CBR650R HondaCare
A HondaCare extended service plan is available for Honda motorcycles, scooters, SXSs and ATVs that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty. The brochure advises signing up before the new vehicle warranty expires.
Eligible Certified Pre-Owned vehicles obtained from a Honda dealer can also be covered.
