Examples of covered systems include Engine (such as transmission, cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, cylinder, crankshafts), Drive system (such as differential, drive shaft, axles, CV joints), and Fuel system (such as intake manifolds, fuel tanks, fuel injectors, fuel pump, control module).
Additional examples include Cooling system (such as radiator, water pump, thermostat, cooling fans, oil cooler), Brakes (such as master cylinder, calipers, anti-lock control module), Electrical (such as alternator, engine control module, electrical shift system, ignition coils), and Chassis (such as frame, shocks, swingarm, steering control rods).

Important exclusions and eligibility notes
The brochure lists exclusions including tires, batteries, audio and navigation equipment, accessories, aftermarket equipment and modifications, and regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle. Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.
A HondaCare extended service plan is available for Honda motorcycles, scooters, SXSs and ATVs that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty. Eligible Certified Pre-Owned vehicles obtained from a Honda dealer can also be covered, and the brochure advises signing up before the new vehicle warranty expires.
