HondaCare Coverage for the Honda Grom
The Honda Grom HondaCare Protection Plan is a HondaCare Protection Plan for the Grom on-road motorcycle family. It’s an extended service plan from American Honda, designed to provide coverage with features and benefits similar to the Honda new vehicle warranty once the factory warranty ends.

HondaCare plan benefits
HondaCare includes nationwide coverage accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States. Coverage has no preset mileage or hour limit, and there’s no deductible or co-pay for repairs covered under HondaCare. The plan is transferable to a subsequent owner at no cost.
Optional Roadside Assistance
Add optional Roadside Assistance for worry-free, nationwide coverage. Benefits listed in the HondaCare brochure include emergency towing, fuel delivery service, locksmith assistance, extrication assistance, and a 24/7 toll-free assistance number. For Honda on-road motorcycles and scooters, this optional Roadside Assistance can be purchased and used at any time, regardless of the vehicle’s warranty status.

This HondaCare Protection Plan applies to the Honda Grom model family, including: GROM, GROM ABS, and GROM SP.

Coverage terms offered for the Honda Grom are 1 Year, 2 Years, 3 Years, 4 Years, and 5 Years.
Pricing without Roadside Assistance is: 1 Year $320, 2 Years $370, 3 Years $440, 4 Years $530, 5 Years $670.
Pricing with optional Roadside Assistance is: 1 Year $370, 2 Years $440, 3 Years $530, 4 Years $630, 5 Years $790.

Factory warranty and total protection timeline
The Grom factory warranty is 12 months. HondaCare is a separate protection plan that begins where the factory warranty ends.
Taken together, the 12-month Honda limited warranty and the longest available HondaCare term of 5 Years provide protection for up to 6 Years from new.

Nationwide coverage: Coverage is accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States.
No mileage or hour limitation: Coverage does not expire at a preset mileage or hour limit.
No deductible or co-pay: There are no out-of-pocket costs for repairs covered under HondaCare.
Transferable: HondaCare is transferable to a subsequent owner at no cost.
Repairs you can trust: Backed by American Honda, covered repairs are made by Honda technicians using only new Genuine Honda Parts.
Examples of what HondaCare may help cover
The brochure lists the items below as examples only—“just some of the many covered repairs against defects included in the plan.” Actual contract coverages, limitations and exclusions may vary; see your dealer for details.
Engine system examples: transmission, balancer shaft, cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, cylinder, crankshafts.
Drive system examples: differential, drive shaft, axles, CV joints.
Fuel system examples: carburetors, intake manifolds, fuel tanks, fuel petcock, fuel injectors, fuel pump, control module.
Cooling system examples: radiator, water pump, thermostat, cooling fans, oil cooler.
Brake, electrical, and chassis examples include: master cylinder, calipers, anti-lock control module; alternator, regulator/rectifier, engine control module, ignition coils; frame, shocks, swingarm, steering control rods.
Important exclusions and void conditions
The brochure lists these items as excluded: tires, batteries, audio and navigation equipment, accessories, aftermarket equipment and modifications, and regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle. Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.

Eligibility notes and official brochure disclaimer
A HondaCare extended service plan is available for Honda motorcycles, scooters, SXSs and ATVs that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty. Eligible Certified Pre-Owned vehicles obtained from a Honda dealer can also be covered.
The brochure advises signing up before the new vehicle warranty expires.
