HondaCare Coverage for the Honda NT1100
The Honda NT1100 HondaCare Protection Plan is a HondaCare Protection Plan for the NT1100 touring motorcycle. It is an extended service plan from American Honda, with coverage features and benefits similar to the Honda new vehicle warranty.

The NT1100 includes a 24-month Honda limited warranty, and the longest available HondaCare term is 5 Years, for protection for up to 7 Years from new when taken together.
HondaCare plan benefits
HondaCare includes nationwide coverage accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States. The plan has no mileage or hour limitation, no deductible or co-pay for repairs covered under HondaCare, and it’s transferable to a subsequent owner at no cost. Covered repairs are backed by American Honda and performed by Honda technicians using only new Genuine Honda Parts.
Optional Roadside Assistance
You can choose your NT1100 HondaCare plan with or without optional Roadside Assistance. Roadside Assistance provides worry-free, nationwide coverage and includes emergency towing, fuel delivery service, locksmith assistance, extrication assistance, and a 24/7 toll-free assistance number. For owners of Honda on-road motorcycles and scooters, it can be purchased and used at any time, regardless of the vehicle’s warranty status.

A HondaCare Protection Plan is an extended service plan from American Honda. The HondaCare brochure markets it under the line “Protection Under Our Wing.”

This product is intended for the Honda NT1100 model. Civilian NT1100 only; NT1100P/Police is excluded by the HondaCare price-list notes.

Taken together, the 24-month Honda limited warranty and the longest available HondaCare term of 5 Years provide protection for up to 7 Years from new.

Nationwide coverage: Coverage is accepted at any authorized Honda Motorcycle, Scooter, SXS or ATV dealer within the United States.
No mileage or hour limitation: Coverage does not expire at a preset mileage or hour limit.
No deductible or co-pay: There are no out-of-pocket costs for repairs covered under HondaCare.

Engine system examples: Transmission, balancer shaft, cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, cylinder, crankshafts.
Drive system examples: Differential, drive shaft, axles, CV joints.
Fuel system examples: Carburetors, intake manifolds, fuel tanks, fuel petcock, fuel injectors, fuel pump, control module.
Cooling system examples: Radiator, water pump, thermostat, cooling fans, oil cooler.

Important exclusions and conditions
The brochure lists exclusions including: tires, batteries, audio and navigation equipment, accessories, aftermarket equipment and modifications, and regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle.
Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.
Eligibility notes for HondaCare on the NT1100
A HondaCare extended service plan is available for Honda motorcycles, scooters, SXSs and ATVs that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty.
Eligible Certified Pre-Owned vehicles obtained from a Honda dealer can also be covered.
The brochure advises signing up before the new vehicle warranty expires.
