HondaCare Coverage for the Honda Trail 125
Trail 125 HondaCare is a HondaCare Protection Plan for the Honda TRAIL 125. It’s an extended service plan from American Honda, designed to provide coverage with similar features and benefits to the Honda new vehicle warranty once the factory warranty ends.
When you buy, you choose a coverage term (1 to 5 years) and you can choose to add optional Roadside Assistance. The price shown on the product page depends on the plan variant you select.

HondaCare includes benefits aimed at keeping ownership straightforward. Coverage does not expire at a preset mileage or hour limit, and there are no out-of-pocket costs for repairs covered under HondaCare (no deductible or co-pay). Covered repairs are backed by American Honda and performed by Honda technicians using only new Genuine Honda Parts.
Optional Roadside Assistance
You can add optional Roadside Assistance to your Trail 125 HondaCare plan. Roadside benefits include emergency towing, fuel delivery service, locksmith assistance, extrication assistance, and access to a 24/7 toll-free assistance number. For owners of Honda on-road motorcycles and scooters, optional Roadside Assistance can be purchased and used at any time, regardless of the vehicle’s warranty status.
What the Trail 125 HondaCare Protection Plan is
A HondaCare Protection Plan is an extended service plan from American Honda. The brochure markets HondaCare under the line “Protection Under Our Wing.”
For the Trail 125, HondaCare is designed to take over after the Honda limited warranty ends, and it offers similar features and benefits to the Honda new vehicle warranty.

This Trail 125 HondaCare Protection Plan is available in 1 Year, 2 Years, 3 Years, 4 Years, and 5 Years terms.

Taken together, the 12-month Honda limited warranty and the longest available HondaCare term of 5 Years provide protection for up to 6 Years from new.

What HondaCare can help cover (examples by system)
The brochure lists examples only—described as “just some of the many covered repairs against defects included in the plan.” These examples illustrate what can fall inside each covered system, but they are not a complete list. Actual contract coverages, limitations and exclusions may vary—see your dealer for details.
Engine examples include transmission, balancer shaft, cylinder heads, pistons, camshafts, cylinder, and crankshafts.
Drive system examples include differential, drive shaft, axles, and CV joints.
Fuel system examples include carburetors, intake manifolds, fuel tanks, fuel petcock, fuel injectors, fuel pump, and control module.
Cooling system examples include radiator, water pump, thermostat, cooling fans, oil cooler.
Brakes, electrical, and chassis examples include master cylinder, calipers, anti-lock control module; alternator, regulator/rectifier, engine control module, ignition coils; and frame, shocks, swingarm, and steering control rods.
What’s not covered and when coverage can be voided
The brochure lists items not covered, including tires, batteries, audio and navigation equipment, accessories, aftermarket equipment and modifications, and regular, required and expendable maintenance.
Racing, competition and rental use will void HondaCare coverage of the vehicle.
Competition models that did not receive a new vehicle warranty are not eligible for HondaCare Protection Plans.

Eligibility notes for HondaCare on the Trail 125
A HondaCare extended service plan is available for Honda motorcycles, scooters, SXSs and ATVs that came with, and are still under, a new vehicle warranty.
Eligible Certified Pre-Owned vehicles obtained from a Honda dealer can also be covered.
The brochure advises signing up before the new vehicle warranty expires.
